TrainingRegistration.org is a Police Technical
LLC property. Police Technical LLC is a team
of talented individuals focused on providing technical training and
development services to
public safety agencies and related industries.
Thomas M. Manson is the owner of Police Technical LLC.
Why are you
doing this?
We designed this website to provide a missing service
to the law enforcement community, namely to provide
law enforcement training companies and associations
with the ability to provide online
registration services to their students and members.

How does
this work?
The website works differently depending on if you
are a Company seeking an online registration
solution or a Student seeking classes.
For a Company
A responsible person for the Company creates an
account; they are sent a user name and password,
which they use to log-in to their account. They can then enter class
data which creates
an online registration form. Prospective students
can then use that form to register for classes. Companies have online
access, 24 hours
a day, to all of their student's data; this data
may also be downloaded to Excel or other database program.
For a Student
Prospective students click a link which takes
them to a registration form. They then see all
of the course information: Title and description, Instructor information,
Dates and location.
They register for the course (and pay for it
with a credit card if they choose). Once submitted,
their registration
data goes to the
Company, and the student receives an email confirmation.
What
happens to my registration information?
Any personal information provided to TrainingRegistration.org
is maintained according to our privacy policy.
All of the data gathered from registration
forms goes to the Company associated with that particular
form. TrainingRegistration.org gathers only
enough information to verify identity: Name,
Agency and Email. Your data is your data.
What is the life cycle
for a registration?
When a registration is submitted through TrainingRegistration.org
both the Student and the Company receive a confirmation
via email. The registration data is simultaneously deposited into the
Company
secured database. This data is stored and maintained
under the Terms and Conditions, and is not maintained by Police Technical
LLC.
If a Company no longer uses the services of TrainingRegistrations.org
all of the data generated from their contract will
be deleted.
How much does this cost?
The base price for 1-4 courses is $200.00; discounts
apply for additional courses. You may process
as many students as you want. Quantity discounts apply for more than
5 courses posted
within a given month.
TrainingRegistration.org account
managers will perform data entry for your company
(create your company profile, add your classes and maintain
students records) for you for an additional $25.00
per course.
Law Enforcement Association
Your association wants to provide online registration
for an annual conference and you want TrainingRegistration.org
to enter your seminar data.
Total Cost:
$225.00, $200.00 for the class, $25.00
for the data entry work. Merchant ID setup
for credit card processing is available at
a
minimal cost.
You will get a custom home page with
a search engine of your courses; a custom, secured, online registration
form; a full management section
for your classes and students; the ability to
process credit cards; and integrated marketing with Policetraining.net.
New Training Company
Your company needs an online registration system.
You currently have 6 classes scheduled in various
locations; you want to enter your own data.
Cost: $1050.00, $175.00
per class. Merchant ID setup for credit card
processing is available at a minimal cost.
You
will get a custom home page with a search engine of your courses;
a custom, secured, online registration form; a full management section
for your classes and students; the ability to
process credit cards;
and integrated marketing with Policetraining.net.
Established Training Company
Your company provides expert training but not
in computer development. You have over 100 classes a year throughout
the United States; you want an online registrations
system that eliminates
the hassle of constantly sending and receiving
faxes. You need a system where people can get information about your
company, register for
courses, and pay for them with a credit card.
It also must be easy to manage and provide an opportunity for the
growth of your company.
Cost: $10,000.00, $150.00 per class (quantity
discount). Merchant ID
setup for credit card processing is available at
a minimal cost.
You get a custom home page with
a search engine of your courses; a custom, secured,
online registration form; a full management section
for your classes and students; the ability to process
credit cards; and integrated marketing with Policetraining.net.
What
if a seminar cancels?
All course related information is the responsibility
of the company and student. TrainingRegistration.org
is a conduit for both parties, but we claim
no responsibility if a company cancels
a course. Please read our Terms and Conditions for additional information
Is your site integrated
with Policetraining.net?
Yes. When a Company creates a course with TrainingRegistration.org
we automatically send it to Policetraining.net
- the calendar for law enforcement training for immediate listing.
Policetraining.net is the best location to market your law enforcement
training course or seminar. Tens of thousands of
officers go this site everyday looking for training.
When they see your course and click on
it - they will go directly to a customized registration
page for your course.
Placing your classes on policetraining.net
with a link to YOUR course registration form is
included in your service agreement with TrainingRegistration.org.
I already
have an online registration form, why should I use TrainingRegistration.org?
Many companies have some type of online registration,
but very few offer the benefits of using TrainingRegistration.org.
Many
training companies only have:
An unsecured html
or cgi-form script to accept registrations. These
systems expose law enforcement data to interception.
A downloadable blank registration form, usually in Word format or
PDF. This requires the
registering officer to download a form, print
it,
fill it out, and then fax it back to the
company. Invoices then need to be exchanged
along with payment. This is a very time consuming
process.
PayPal account to take money. PayPal
is designed to sell widgets not to provide
online registration processing. You can set up a
registration
system with this service but there is no marketing
integration with policetraining.net (you’ll have to do that
yourself), there is no searchable Training
Calendar or customized registration form. Also
there is no tracking of previous classes and
students. The same system used to sell
We take
credit cards now; can we use our Merchant
ID # with TrainingRegistration.org?
If you have a viaKLIX account then you can
use your current information. If not, we
will be glad to help you with
the process of acquiring a viaKLIX account
which can be used on TrainingRegistration.org.
Is
credit card processing safe on the Internet?
Yes, it is! Billions of dollars are exchanged
everyday on the internet. TrainingRegistration.org uses
the highest level of encryption available (from
thawte) to protect your credit card information.
Your information is only kept long enough to
validate a transaction and is never stored on any
TrainingRegistration.org server. We work
with NOVA Information Systems to process all
of our transactions
We want the ability to take credit cards, how do
we begin?
Contact us and let us know. We want to help you
take payments online. It is so much easier and
once you try it you will NEVER go back to the old
system and your students will like it
too. They can pay for a class with a credit card
and not have to think about it again. We are corporate
partners with Old National Bank,
one of the most respected names in banking. We
will help you work with their account representatives
to secure your Merchant ID #. You
will be up and running (and taking credit cards
for payments) in a few days.
How do I know this
is secure?
You can see our security certificate by clicking
here or on the thawte© icon on the homepage. The process for
a company to receive and deploy a security certificate is lengthy.
Police Technical LLC and trainingregistration.org ownership and good
standing had to be verified before a certificate was granted. For
